Every day, thousands of new YouTube channels are being opened for the purpose of income. However, many of the new YouTubers do not have a clear idea about the YouTube Community Guidelines and Google Adsense or Monetization Policy. As a result, the opportunity to earn money from YouTube may be closed for various reasons. Today’s article is very important for both those who have received monetization or those who have opened a new channel and have not yet received monetization.
In today’s episode of “Online Income”, we will try to find out the reasons why the opportunity to earn money from YouTube can be closed. Read today’s article from beginning to end to keep your YouTube channel’s income active or to get monetization on your YouTube channel for income. Before knowing the reasons why income from YouTube can be stopped, let’s know what YouTube monetization is and why you have to follow the monetization conditions.
YouTube Monetization
To earn income by uploading videos from a YouTube channel, you must keep monetization on your channel. So income from YouTube means that monetization is active on your channel. However, monetization will not be activated immediately after opening the YouTube channel. To activate it, you must follow the monetization policy and YouTube guidelines policy.
YouTube guidelines policy contains what types of videos you can upload and what types of videos you cannot upload. And there are some conditions in the monetization policy that if you comply with the conditions, the monetization team will verify and select the monetization on your channel.
If you violate any of the rules and regulations of the YouTube Community Guidelines and Monetization Policy, you will not get monetization on your channel, that is, you will not be able to earn income. Again, if you are not getting monetization after opening a new channel or if you are earning income on your old channel but monetization has suddenly stopped, it means that you have uploaded a video in violation of the YouTube Community Guidelines.
Conditions for enabling monetization
If you want to earn income by opening a channel on YouTube and uploading videos, the first condition is that you must become a member of the YouTube Partner Program. According to the 2023 YouTube Partner Program policy, your channel must have 500 to 1000 subscribers, as well as at least 3 thousand hours of watch time in the last 365 days and the last 1 year, and in the case of YouTube Shorts videos, there must be 3 million views in the last 90 days. In addition, more specifically, according to the YouTube video policy, you must upload at least one video every month.
However, these rules are changed by the YouTube authorities from time to time. So we should keep an eye on it from time to time to know if the policies have changed.
Moreover, monetization on YouTube channels is not available in all countries of the world. Of course, monetization is available for us in Bangladesh. However, many other countries do not have this facility, so people in those countries will not have the opportunity to earn income from YouTube.
