If you use the above configurations with any monitor according to your convenience, then this will become a good quality PC for video editing.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the configurations I have discussed above are very expensive for laptops and some features are very difficult to support in laptops. So in my opinion, PC would be the best choice for this task.
Video Editing Software
Software is required for video editing. There are many softwares that are used for editing. Among them, there are 2 types of software, free video editing software and paid video editing software.
With which you can easily edit videos. For example –
VSDC free Video Editor: This software first started its journey in 2011. The editing quality of this software is very good. Its specialty is great for YouTube. Although it is free, the popularity of this software is huge.
Openshot Software: This software was first discovered in 2008 by a person named Jonathan Thomas. Among other free softwares, this software has the most tools. Through it, new video and audio files can be added and combined very easily.
Lightworks Software: If you want to do professional video editing, this software will give you very good performance. Hollywood’s famous movies “Wolf of Wall Street” and “Pulp Fiction” were edited with this software. It was first launched in 1989.
Shotcut Software: This is a very popular software for new editors. In this software, video files can be saved without watermarks. There is no need to import new video files due to the native timeline editing feature.
Apple iMovie Software: Its user interface is very simple. It allows 4K video editing. It is very convenient for new editors.
Through this, editing can be started with iPhone, iPad and then it can be easily transferred to MacBook. It was first launched by Apple company.
Apple final cut pro: This software is very popular with a professional editor. It has some important features like 360 degree video, multi camera options and many more like tracking mode, color collection mode.

Adobe Premiere Pro: It has a simple interface and several tools that are not available in any other paid software. It can use numerous multicam angles. Although it does not get the simplicity of sound effects and it can be difficult for new editors at first.
Cyberlink PowerDirector: Due to the many features, it is a bit difficult to understand at first, but the project can be rendered very quickly. It also has the facilities of multicam and motion tracking and skin recording.
Corel VideoStudio Ultimate: This software is mainly for those who are very good at editing and who are professional YouTubers. It supports fast rendering facilities, 360 degree VR, 4K Ultra HD and 3D media. But its audio features are not very rich and it does not work very well on high DPI monitors.
Movai Video Editor Plus: This is a very popular software for professional editors with several good looking effects and transitions. It can be used for free for the rest of its life once purchased.
